About us

Thirty-five years of
showing up

Seva Tirth is the shared identity of two Vadodara organisations working from one centre on Dhaniyavi Road — a place where a person can be assessed for a wheelchair, learn a trade, receive physiotherapy and be treated as a neighbour.

Our story

A working centre, not a showcase

What began in 1991 as a small rehabilitation effort has grown into a working centre — where a person can be assessed for a wheelchair, learn a trade, receive physiotherapy, and be treated as a neighbour rather than a case file.

Seva Tirth is not a single programme. It is a shared home for two organisations working side by side on disability, rehabilitation and blood donation, with trained staff and volunteers, honest records and steady follow-up.

Families, hospitals, schools and local donors are part of the work. Giving blood or time here is an ordinary habit, not a one-day event.

Two organisations

One roof, two mandates

Seva Tirth is the shared identity of the Society for the Training and Vocational Rehabilitation of Disabled and Gujarat Raktapitt Nivaran Seva Sangh, working together from one centre in Vadodara.

STVRD

Society for the Training and Vocational Rehabilitation of Disabled

Vocational training, physiotherapy, rehabilitation and assistive devices for people with disabilities. The focus is independence: a skill that earns, a body that moves, an aid that fits.

GRNSS

Gujarat Raktapitt Nivaran Seva Sangh

Voluntary blood donation drives, medical camps and patient support across Vadodara. GRNSS connects willing donors with the people and hospitals that need them.

How we work

Dignity first, always

Service here is practical. It means a working wheelchair, a trainable skill, a follow-up appointment kept — and a person treated as a person.

  • Dignity first
  • Skills, not charity
  • Local and accountable
  • Service without show

Our mission

To help people with disabilities in Vadodara live with independence and dignity — through training, treatment, mobility aids and steady support.

Our vision

A city where disability is not a barrier to work, movement or belonging, and where giving blood or time is an ordinary habit.

Every rupee is accounted for, and every programme is planned with the people it serves, not for them. That is the standard the two organisations hold each other to.

Come and see

The work is easier to understand in person

Walk through the centre, meet the team and see what a training batch or a physiotherapy session actually looks like. Visits are welcome Monday to Saturday.
